William Tyler...
represents the diverse influences of modern day street art. Driven by raw talent and intuition; his subject matter reflects self-discovery.
His interest in art began at a very young age, drawing things he would see in everyday life. He was brought up in East Texas where the arts were rarely encouraged as a career path. Because of this, William never saw art as a possible future, but more just as a hobby. His local community revolved around sports and everyone he knew aspired to be a professional athlete of some sort. So, naturally he played as many sports as possible trying to find his niche. Despite his athleticism, he knew deep down it wasn’t his calling.
His first year out of high school (2010), he moved into a loft in downtown Dallas. This was where he began to experiment with a variety of paints. Inspired by Banksy, he would spend countless hours painting large murals on the walls of his home. In time, William would begin painting on canvas, continuing to expand his artistic process. October 01, 2016 is when he decided to share his art with the community for the first time and sold 4 of the 5 paintings he displayed. This sparked a flame that motivated him to strive for a full-time career involving his art.
When William isn’t working on his art endeavors, he enjoys his lifestyle as a model and an influencer. He states that all three of his passions are in perfect balance and allow him to truly do what he loves. He is currently studying graffiti art promotion and vandalism prevention programs to take his passion to the next level. He is without a doubt an artist preparing for a larger impact on the world; you can expect to see great things in his future.
